Are males that commit sexual assault hyper-masculine?

Although not all men who commit sexual assault are hyper-masculine I would argue that the majority of men that commit some sort of sexual assault are hyper-masculine. The majority of men in our society today are taught by the media and by people around them to be strong, powerful, aggressive, tough, controlling men. Women however are being taught that we always have to be the perfect sweet pretty girl. The reason women are being taught this is so we can be perfect for men and almost get some sort of stamp of approval. certain aspects of the media shows women as objects who are only there to impress and please the men men around them. All of this teaches young men that they are entitled to certain things or that women are just there for their own entertainment or pleasure. Since this teaches men that they are entitled to certain things if they are not given those things they feel they are entitled to it may lead them to take it, resulting in sexual assault. Some men commit sexual assault out of anger or to get revenge, or to feel as if they have ultimate power over someone, or because they get pleasure out of seeing their victim in pain. All of this leads back to how we teach men to be hyper-masculine and superior compared to women. Although I believe the majority of men that commit sexual assault are hyper-masculine I do still believe that there could be some cases where the person who committed the sexual assault isn't hyper-masculine, and in my opinion it all leads back to what we teach young men. For example say there's a young man who doesn't really fit into the stereotypical idea of what a man should be like and he's doubting his masculinity he may be motivated to commit a sexual assault to prove his masculinity. This ties back to the media and the fact that we teach men to be hyper masculine and if they aren't hyper-masculine then we bring them down because of it. I believe that men who commit sexual assault are hyper-masculine and that the media and people around them are the ones who teach them to be hyper-masculine
